One of the many trips to the area.. thought why not stop in. Parking is in the back. First impressions walking in, is that's it's dated.. but clean. So you order and a few minutes later you get what you ordered. The brisket is good, the ribs are proper, not fall off the bone (not supposed to be that way) but the meat snaps off the rib bone, the chicken wings were great, and the fries are great. The entire meal was great and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We'll be back.. good BBQ is hard to find

I could cut my brisket like it was butter! My boyfriend had the monster and he sucked it up so fast he couldn't believe the taste! I'm so glad we decided to go in after all we will definitely be back! Friendly service to very proper and very kind and friendly!

Best BBQ in Central Illinois , I rarely eat beef because it’s hard for me to digest do to health issues but, when I do it’s Whitey’s the brisket is always super tender and good with out the BBQ sauce so adding their signature BBQ sauce makes it even better. Also for those whom can’t handle hot / spicey sauce their mild sauce is superb. Keep in mind they can only make so much each day so unless you order catering in advance it is first come first serve so they may run out of options as the day progresses.
