Great food, ambiance and customer service. We met a group of patrons that frequent the place once a week and they were a hoot. This was my husbands first time having German cuisine and he really enjoyed experiencing food from a different culture. I spent 5.5 years in Germany and the food did taste authentic. If you're ever in Peoria this is a place you must visit.

Germany in the midst of Peoria. Enjoy generous portions of authentic, German food as polka tunes play overhead. Full bar with a good selection of beers. Though we can only vouch for dinner, we've heard great things about the lunchtime soup bar gets rave reviews from many people for a quick lunch. We had a great time and will be back again and again. Prost!

If you want truly authentic German food, outstanding service, and just a great overall experience this is a must. You are treated as family as soon as you walk in the door whether it's your first visit or your 50th. Reasonable prices and extraordinary hospitality.

Authentic German cuisine and beers! Great people that serve deliciously flavored German treats! Schnitzel of different types, and many sausages. Lots of interesting things to try. All good! Their Jaeger gravy is so good you could put it on dirt and it would taste good! Daily lunch specials are great and inexpensive. Dinner is more pricey. But it's worth it. The paprika schnitzel is my current favorite. Certainly the best German food I've tasted in central Illinois and as good as any I've eaten in Germany! Go there!

The food is the closest thing to my grandma's cooking I can get in this area. The only thing that is not comfortable is there potato salad it's definitely not German missing bacon missing the sweet sour taste and definitely German potato salad is not served cold. The bratwurst rouladen red cabbage sauerkraut are all very good. But sure do miss their famous apple strudel. cheesecake is not even remotely German LOL always look forward to going back
