Yesterday we were celebrating our 39th Anniversary which I told the waitress and I ordered an Chardonnay. So we decided to try the buffet. This was at noon and the waitress was kind of stressed as she was hit hard. There was not much left. So we had a great broccoli salad. She said they will be filling everything soon. We had to leave after an hour so we had a $45 dollar bill for really nothing. And had to hear how the democrats are destroying Illinois from the table next to us!!!

Classic Old-School wood paneled steak place. Great quality meat. Service is ALWAYS slow...so.slow. Jim's Bistro in Peoria Heights is a better choice and faster service

This place is intimate. Small basement location, tables are fairly close to one another, not a quiet spot for sure. But the food was great. The service was great. We had a business dinner and everyone was pleased. If we have another opportunity we would use them again.

Really cool restaurant underground. Would recommend trying it out. I had one of the best experiences with a group of clients, we Did not have a reservation and they put us at a grand piano. 20 minutes into dinner we had a lady behind singing and playing the piano. It was a night the group will never forget

They ran out of the main dishes in their lunch buffet. It wouldn't have been a big deal if they hadn't replaced them with a steak kabob where the meat was extremely rare. Typically, Jim's is a fantastic place to eat!! I'm sure this was a fluke.
