Too expensive for what you get. Service way to slow and unfriendly. An expensive breakfast place should serve better tasting water also it was nasty tasting. Also thought it was weird not one thing inside says they serve breakfast. Just alcohol and pics of faces. Weird I thought. Also think that raising their prices about 2.00 on items was a dumb move. Too expensive for breakfast now considering how long it took Too! We were there 20 min before we got to order

The California Club panini was good, but left me feeling guilty for being lazy -- that I had not just went home, and made my own turkey sandwich. Just too pricey for what tasted just "okay." I did not taste the aoili mustard which might have made a difference. I will say that the bacon was FANTASTIC... Couldn't have made that at home! I wanted to try the Reuben, but didn't see it on the menu. Disappointed! I don't know if I overlooked it, or if they stopped making it. Either way, I am willing to give it another shot with a different sandwich. I also plan on coming in for breakfast one morning after work; so, I have not given up on this place yet! ☺️

The best pancakes I've ever had! Lemon Souffle with blueberries on top! Yes, please. My husband enjoyed the Monte Cristo. A quaint place with great service and excellent food!

Surprised at the amazing quality of food and friendly staff. Everything I've ever ordered tastes amazing. Be sure to check out the different drinks on the menu.

No biscuits and gravy, which, I suppose is to be expected from a place called Toast on Market. It is perhaps one of the only decent places to eat in downtown New Albany with reasonable prices. Small family of 4 got 2 scrambled eggs, the lemon pancake, bacon and hash brown casserole, and water, for roughly $12. I know, it seems like a measly meal, but our children are under 5 and we already had some breakfast and were waiting for one of the shops to open. No need to break the bank. The tables are quite close together which doesn't lend to any intimacy, if that's the kind of thing you're looking for in the morning, but, seeing how a lot of families eat here, there are plenty of good-natured observations to be proclaimed from the surrounding yokels.
