A co-worker and I go here once in a while but I have not been in a long time. I am not an expert on Indian Food, all I know is what I like and I like this place. So I had the day off and decided to take my wife here, she has never had Indian food and we have been talking about it for a long time. Now I know my wife can tolerate some spicy foods and I warned her but she wanted to try it anyway. The hostess/owner greeted us warmly and sat us in a booth at our request. The restaurant was clean the staff was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. We decided on the buffet so that my wife could try a small portions of many dishes. The hostess checked back with us and asked how my wife liked it and I told her the spice was a bit too much for her and that this how it goes sometimes. The hostess made some suggestions that involved the yogurt based sauce on the buffet as well as a mango yogurt drink that can up cut the spice. We tried both and the mango drink was AWESOME!! I think we might go back just for the mango drink!! While my wife will probably not go out for Indian again, it had nothing to do with this specific restaurant, it is about the spices used and her ability to tolerate them in indian food in general. The buffet seemed well stocked and had a good variety. The food didn't seem to be "sitting" very long, an indicator to me that they manage it well and people really like the dishes they chose to put on the buffet. The table was clean as was the room in general. The utensils were clean as was the glassware and the plates on the buffet. So while I am no expert in Indian food as I said I love this place and will continue to go there. The folks that own this place seem like friendly, honest, and wonderful people and I will continue to support them as much as I can.

I've been looking for an Indian restaurant to go to at Purdue that just felt right. And I found it here! Their meat is tender, the service is on point, and the food is just great. You actually get to meet and talk to the owner. Her and her waiters/waitresses are always welcoming and personal.

Great place with very tasty food... Buffet is good with a wide variety of vegetarian as well non-vegetarian dishes... They have an excellent assortment of Indian sweets as well... Price for the buffet is also very competitive.. The Tandoori Naans in the buffet is always in great demand so be sure to grab them as soon as they arrive!

Good food. Not too crowded like you sometimes get near campus. Very friendly and helpful staff.
