If you're a Chinese food buffet fan, or just looking for a good buffet in general, congrats! You've found it. Although Peking House isn't going to dazzle you with hundreds of options or expensive items, they have their core competency mastered - providing good Chinese food in buffet fashion that is hot and plentiful. Each time we've gone, the buffet has been more than respectable - no scraping empty buffet trays for a cold piece of chicken or beef here at all. They also have a solid sushi bar and Mongolian grill. Our most recent trip was for lunch on a Sunday around 1:30pm, and the buffet was fully stocked with tons of delicious items. If you're going to stuff your face with Chinese food, do it right - do it at Peking house.

The food was cold and old. Our drinks were not getting filled up. Also when the waiter took our ticket to pay, he returned it. I signed it and did not put a tip because of poor service and cold old food. When he saw I didn't tip, he mumbled stuff under his breath. Also when we left he rolled his eyes at my husband and I on 2 different occasions. I have to laugh how childish.. If I could give this place a 0, I would. I used to love going here, but last 2 times really sucked. They are definitely going down hill.

Do not go here!! The food was old and dried up like its been out all day. I was scared to try the seafood. The Jello didn't jiggle if that's any indication of how inedible the food was. 3 quarters of their food trays were empty or near empty. Interestingly enough one of the employees brought out fresh food for himself to eat. I got a good laugh when another disgruntled customer went over to the employee's table and helped himself to the employee's supper. Lastly, I got cursed at in Chinese by the server when he realized that we didn't tip him for his poor service. He then mumbled something in Chinese as we walked past him on our way out the door. MY FAMILY WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

Decided to try this despite of some negative reviews and low expectations. We went there around 8pm and it did not look very busy. When you go to Chinese buffet and see place not very busy, it is definitely a good indicator of how the food will be. I thought it was going to be not so great experience but there were good number of food options there and most of the items I tried seemed cooked alright with the exception of couple items that appeared to be sitting for a while and not worth eating. We were party of 3 and waiter leading us to the seating did not speak good English but we were able to convey that two of us wanted buffet and one wanted to order out of the menu. Food out of the menu was hot but was not so great, although sushi was alright. They had Mongolian grille that was part of the buffet but no one bothered to explain this to us so we didn't try that. I say items with red meat were fine but I would question sea food and for sure items with chicken. It seemed like a really low quality of white meat with mostly ends and smaller pieces of meat but very few times you would see good piece of meat in the food. Veggies were good so you definitely can get your daily quota of fibers. Waiter was not so attententiv and was sitting in one of the booth with his cell phone so may be wasn't interested in serving any longer. We asked for chop sticks and he pointed the direction where I had to go get it. There is no 2.5 star so I have them 3 since food was cheap enough and expecting too much would not be a justice. Overall it wasn't the best food but also not the worst either. It will fill you up if that's your objective. Give them a try like I did, sounds like there are times when freshly cooked food makes it to the buffet. I went there in dinner time and I am willing to try lunch buffet.

Service was kind and the presentation was inviting. Wide variety of food but the seafood wasn't the best, but that could just be time of the year. Other items seemed overcooked. Recommend the beef with broccoli, it was delicious.
