Fantastic food. A must stop anytime I see one. Wish they would make MORE locations

Coworkers raved about trying this local taco chain and eventually I caved in and went to lunch at this location. I sampled a chicken enchilada, cheese fries, pork flour taco and soda for $11.34. The chicken enchilada was the best part of the meal. The cheese fries were frozen and then some nacho cheese from can on top, really? Lastly the pork meat was not season well and had too much cheese. My coworker said the steak enchilada was good, so if we ever go back I will stick to the enchiladas. People giving this a 5 stars, makes me wonder if they have ever left the city. Would have given it poor, but I have had worse in San Antonio, TX. Not trying to sound negative, but taco johns tastes better to me. Thank for reading.

A Des Moines staple. Tasty Tacos serves homemade flour tacos that are simple, but delicious. I'm personally a fan of the chicken flour tacos with a little hot sauce, but you can't really go wrong with any of them.

My daughter went to the store on 86th street and ordered 3 original tacos, 2 corn nachos, kids chicken strip and cheese bites. When she arrived home she had 3 flour nachos, 2 corn nachos and the rest order was correct. When I called to advise the lady on the phone talked to cashier in Hispanic and then told me I was wrong and we ordered 3 flour nachos. The night shift has never been good but this was worse then normal. I would advise you to check all orders coming out of that place. After this experience I will never step foot in their door again.

This place has been a long time favorite of mine, I am a big fan because of the flour tacos and the cheese curds. Plus, it is so close to a theater. Hot food fast, cooked to order. I really appreciate that this local chain is family owned and run. "Nada es impossible." Their original flour taco costs $3.15. Pepsi products are offered here for the Mountain Dew fans.
