I have to say I love this place. The oysters were excellent. The service was the on point. I know it can get a little touristy and crowded but be patient it's worth it. The place was full of life and laughs the day we went. I like the fact that we could see the oysters being cooked in front of everyone. Again, if you don't like large crowds or wait times this might not be for you but if you want to give it a try...you probably won't be disappointed.

Wonderful experience. This place was the best part of my visit. Friendly staff, fantastic cocktails and awesome food. I highly recommend anyone to visit. Special thanks to Terry Lee, Brandon and Leslie (GM). The line was out the door during my visit, but their great attitude and professionalism made up for it.

Great place for a meal! This place is essentially a diner in the middle of the French Quarter. No matter when you go by it always seems to have a line. Had the crawfish, grilled oysters and combo plate. All were great. Definitely a must stop when in the area. It is not pretentious or such. Just great food, reasonable price and most of the time a reasonable wait. Highly recommend it.

Acme Oyster House is one of those New Orleans tourist Icons. That's not a bad thing at all. But there may be a long, line of people, rain or cold or hot or wet waiting to get in. I don't care what Zagat’s says, Acme is one of those iconic New Orleans places to go. Seafood is king here. Breakfast with Bloody Marys, oysters and fresh shrimp is a good thing. It's fine for a casual business meeting or after walking 3 hours in the French Quarter as a tourist. Cold, fresh, delicious with good service is their business. But expect to wait because like all of the city's icons there will probably be a line.

I just landed in New Orleans and I was looking for some place to eat. My Uber driver recommended that I go to Acme Oyster House. I arrived at the perfect time at around 11:45 when there wasn't a line so I got to go in and chill after walking around in the humid and warm environment. I LOVED the oysters. I also fell in love with the soft shell crab. The jambalaya also was great. I'd love to come here again, I want to eat here every day.
