This is a somewhat romantic place, where the musicians play at your table. The service is excellent although the food is average. I had a problem with my fish but the waiter wouldn't have it and brought out another. The second was much better. The bread and sides were nice as well. With all the amazing food in Nola not sure I'd be back, although if you're on a date you could do worse.

I had been to Antoine's the night before and was expecting another dinner about the same. I was delighted to have a completely different experience. The atmosphere of Arnaud's was much more energetic. It was crowded, but the service did not suffer. The food was amazing (all 3 courses), and the drinks were spot on. This was maybe my favorite restaurant of my week in New Orleans. I will definitely be back here in the future.

Great sit-down elegant service. Staff was attentive without being pushy or annoying. Cocktails were very good--they serve a traditional French 75 with Brandy instead of Gin. They had a wide selection of wines by the bottle and a reasonable selection by the glass. The food was very good and the bread outstanding. The atmosphere was elegant and refined without being pretentious. Definitely recommend dressing nicely, but not full formal evening or gala wear. Most of the men were not wearing ties or jackets.

Extremely classy restaurant though I felt extremely underdressed so dress your best. Although there was great service, the food was ok. They sat our party directly under the air conditioning so we were freezing for the entirety of the evening and we weren't the only ones (two girls at another table next to ours also asked us if we were cold). The decor was also pretty unique. Also, there is a fee for the live musicians that are there. We didn't know and was quite alarmed when we got the bill so just be warned.

Great restaurant and venue. The food is excellent. My personal favorite was the gumbo. Best I had while in New Orleans. Service was good, even with our large group (20+). Definitely on the list whenever I return to NOLA.
