We had a small group, we made reservations thankfully. The service here is five star; we were treated like royalty. The prices are high and makes for an expensive dinner. I started with Gumbo and ordered the duck. The food was good, but I'd give it 4 starts. For dessert, we all had the Bananas Foster; it was six stars.

Brennan's is probably one of the most popular restaurants in New Orleans, but the main draw for me was that they invented my favorite dessert of all time! We stopped in on a Saturday night, and decided to head into the Roost Bar, where you can actually order a full menu or dessert of a reservation is hard to come by! We were surprised how easy it was to walk in and grab a seat! I had a strawberry champagne cocktail that was really yummy and refreshing, and the other cocktails in our group were great too. The bananas foster is prepared table side, and definitely get a portion for every person in your group. It's so fun when they ignite the alcohol! The dessert was delicious and wonderful.

My friend and I were super excited to have dinner in this beautiful restaurant. The decor, drinks, and food were amazing! I wish I could give this place five stars but they need to work on their staff. Our waiter was so uninterested on engaging or recommending any of the dishes; even when describing the special of the day a hot dog sounded more appetizing. I had to ask questions about recommendations and had to request the correct knife to cut my duck (by the way super delicious). Not the service I expected from a restaurant of this caliber.

Amazing brunch! Husband got the baked apple and eggs Benedict, I got the seafood Benedict and we both got pressed coffee. Everything was just amazing. Would love to come here over and over. Beautiful building and courtyard area as well.

It was truly an honor to spend an evening at the historic Brennan’s. Max took tremendous care of us at the bar. Next time I come to NOLA I’ll clean out my piggy bank to experience the food here too. The drinks were phenomenal, the ambience was classy and relaxed at the same time, and the people managed to cultivate a feeling of familiarity and home. I couldn’t recommend Brennan’s more highly.
