Location is nothing to write home about but this is clearly a place to get fresh seafood - it was being loaded and unloaded throughout our lunch. Service was quick and friendly. We put in an order at the counter sat outside at a picnic table under an umbrella and waited for our number to be called. After 5 or so minutes our food was ready, we grabbed some cutlery and ketchup packets, and enjoyed some of the tastiest seafood I've ever had in Maine. The fried clams (whole belly) were evenly fried, a good balance of whole belly funk and freshness (the less squeamish can order the clam strips). My wife's fried scallops were immaculate - crispy and utterly juicy on the inside. With scallops you can't disguise how fresh they are or are not and these tasted really really fresh. Fries were okay (wasn't there for the fries), enjoyed the slaw and tartar sauce. Milkshake was the perfect balance for the food, there are soft drinks available as well. Meal was reasonably priced, portions were generous.

Stopped for clams, scallops and haddock. Great service and good eats. The owners were really friendly and upbeat. The haddock was really fresh and tasty, clams and scallops were well liked, as well as the crispy fries. The tartar sauce and coleslaw were okay.
