Had to have a quintessential Maine feast on my last night here. It was everything I hoped it would be, despite my never having eaten a whole lobster before. It was quite a mess! Aside from the annoyed server that looked at me like I was an idiot, this was worthy of a last meal. The clams were incredible, and fresh lobster is one of the great things on this Earth.

Amazing food. Plan to go early. They had a line outside 20 minutes before they opened. Great prices for FRESH seafood.

Went in after driving all day on the recommendation of our campground hostess. We shared a blueberry martini and a lobster pot cooler. Both were very tasty and well made. The fish chowder was nicely done. I actually had to add salt... I don't recall the last time I had to do that in a restaurant. My fried clams were among the best I've had. And the fries like the chowder were not overly salty. My wife had the seafood au gratin. She remarked that it was full of fish and had more lobster than anything else. Our service was great. Very fast but we didn't feel rushed. The parking lot is the size of a postal stamp and although I did see other parking areas they too are small. You might have to park across the river which is still a very short walk.

The food was very good and the service was good. However if you want a relaxing evening enjoy your bottle of wine and your dinner make sure you get there well before they're closing time. We had our bottle of wine our salad and our dinner on the table with in 12 minutes of arriving. No time to relax. It was very clear eat and get out cuz we're picking up the chairs right behind you.

Best lobster roll in ME! Luckily, we did not have to wait a long time for our table. We also enjoyed the seating outside by the river with our blueberry martinis. If there's a long wait, just wait and enjoy the tranquil river with a drink!
