My dinning experience overall was pleasantly good. The food was flavorful and the presentation was excellent. The drink menu was slightly confusing to anybody who might not be familiar with all the options a bar can make. I would suggest a more bar centered insert that mentions a good selection of mixed drinks that can be made from the bar's stock. There are two restaurant menus. One for the formal dining hall which is laid out like a traditional 5 star restaurant menu and a pub menu which is laid out like the traditional family restaurant. The pub menu has a lot of options for varying price ranges and tastes and the formal dining menu has a lot of unique options. Overall i enjoyed the food. The owner came out and chatted with me and i found him to be a really interesting person with a soft jovial attitude and very accommodating. The food and the chef sell the restaurant. My server tonight seemed like she was new, so I will give a pass on some of the mistakes made as a result. The lighting was a bit low in the dining hall. It set a relaxing mood, but i would recommend turning it up just a tad. Overall I would recommend trying it out on a quiet evening if you are looking for something new you haven't tried. Also if your looking for a date night with wine it seems like a good option.

Cream of crab soup was excellent. Ribeye was pretty good ordered medium rare and was a little overdone. Staff was excellent.

Bud's is really two restaurants in one. The bar side is cozy usually fairly busy and a little loud. The restaurant side is more formal. Whichever side you go to you can order from either menu. The menu is not long but all the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and you will usually see Ken the chef and owner out circulating through the restaurant greeting patrons and making sure everyone is happy.

Very friendly staff. I came in just a little before they opened but they sat me right down and got me food and drink. Impressive beer selection for a smaller bar. They had many good local brews plus Bell's Two Hearted Ale. The crab soup was nice and hearty and the wings were nicely done (although the old Bay wings a little salty).
