Grabbed a few lunch specials since I was hungry. Clean place, friendly staff, decent prices. Food was very fresh. Cooked perfectly. The only thing they lack is flavor. Broiled isn't as bad with flavoring. But the fried food really needs some seasoning. Maybe I'm just used to Italian and Portuguese cooking. A few herbs and spices would make me come back weekly. Great place though. Outstanding freshness.

Decided to kick off my spring while in the cape for work and was quite happy with the results. Got a chowder and fish and chips. The fish was lightly battered and tasty. The chowder was pretty good too. All topped by a very helpful and pleasant staff. Thank you!

Just left with our takeout. Got halfway home and they were calling my phone? It turns out they had forgotten to put my chowder in the bag and were going to refund my card but I was welcome to come back and pick up the chowder we wanted. So nice! Who does that!! No one! This has always been the only fried seafood place for me ever since my family would all go there together when I was young. The quality has consistently impressed me, along with the customer service and smiling faces. It’s always great, they change their oil every day I believe so you never get that gross dirty oil taste. And the onion rings are to die for! Keep up the great work!

Terrific fried seafood. Not fancy, but who cares? Clean, Pleasant staff. One of the best clam chowders on the Cape. And the food is not heavily battered, a light fry that compliments the seafood, and doesn't overwhelm it.

I almost don't know how to review this place. We had spent the night in Provincetown and were on our way back home and wanted to stop for some food seafood. Since it was off season, everywhere that was recommended to us was closed! But Cooke's was open. Cooke's is strange in that it has a menu typical of an authentic east coast seafood shack, yet the interior and decor is more reminiscent of an early 90s Dennys. Very bland and light colors that really made it feel like the Walmart of Seafood restaurants as far as decor... YET, the food was still pretty good. I had the native shrimp and my wife had a lobster role. I also had clam chowder which was WONDERFUL! Miles above what I had the day before at the sorry Coffee Pot in P-Town. So it's like you're easting authentic Cape Cod seafood in an incredibly unauthentic setting. It is pricey for what it is. It's the same prices you'd expect from those seafood shacks on the water with the freshest of fresh... But as I said, it was good. Ambience is important to me generally, so this isn't a place I would seek out if I only had 24 hours at the Cape. However, if you're in a similar situation and it's off season and nothing else is working out, you should feel good about coming here. You'll definitely get a nice meal.
