Disappointing Breakfast I decided to treat myself to breakfast and decided to go to Woodward Coney since their Patty Melts are excellent. That was a mistake. I ordered a Farmer's Omelette w/Rye Toast. The Toast, was so lightly toasted with no butter, it looked like they took the bread right out the bag, put it in my box and called it toast. Most Farmer's Omelette come with Hash Browns on the inside. My omelette came with the hash browns on the outside. Yes this is listed on the menu, which I missed, but why is this done?? They state all their Omelettes come with Hash Browns. One would think this is done to avoid having to give a second portion of Hash Browns. I would recommend taking the Farmer's Omelette off the menu if you are not going to serve it like most restaurants. This restaurant is in a prime location in Downtown Detroit and MUST DO BETTER BY STOP BEING CHEAP and GIVING ITS CUSTOMERS POOR QUALITY. I may have to find another place that serves a good Patty Melt.. HMMM... Maybe Grand Trunk, located next door to Woodward Coney!.

Before I go further, the food was good but i gave this place a 2 star rating for the following reason: Today I ordered carryout and picked items based on posted online menu (on google directly) for this restaurant. Expecting to pay $8 total (including tax) for my meal, i ended up paying $12. The reason why and i quote a staff member, "Sorry Sir, that is not our menu or prices. The previous owner somehow locked the online menu which has prevented the current owner from accessing it and making changes to prices." I paid and left because I realized that this is not the staff member's fault. I am trying to understand why the new owner cannot reach out to Google to pull the menu offline completely for now even if they cannot change prices for specific menu items. That way it prevents the staff from having to justify the falsely represented prices. It is not fair to put your staff in this position. To those who want to eat here, DO NOT use the online menu. I would recommend going there in person to place a carry out order or just to dine in until this is remedied by ownership.

The menu online and the door dash prices are incorrect. Cashier was rude and restaurant was unclean. Not sure how they pass health inspection.

Good location, good prices, good but not great service. Standard diner fare, Coney's, big breakfast portions, laid back vibe. I wish they would come by the table more often to check on my coffee.
