They have an excellent selection of food. Highly recommended their gumbo or jambalaya! Fish and chips we're very mediocre, too much batter and not very much flavor. Never tried their sushi but prices are quite a bit higher than a traditional sushi place. I find it hard you believe it could be more fresh or better tasting at a significant higher price.

Was so excited to try them but that was the slowest service I have ever had. We were there shortly after 8pm ordered before 9 but didn't get our food till ten p.m! Then the waitress added her own gratuity probably because she knew her tip was goin to be nothing. We were a table of 6 I didn't think they did that on groups less than ten. She never checked on us, filled waters only when we were about to leave, we had to get up and hunt her down for soy sauce because she did not bring any with our sushi then acted like it was our fault for not asking for it. The bread came after dinner did. The food was overall good though besides the sushi rolls, they are so big you can't fit them in your mouth and the rice was dry and not flavored at all. My salmon however was the reason they get that second star. It was wonderful and the scallops were also amazing. Very disappointed, you would think a place like that would give decent service or make up for it if they did not!

I'm not a huge fan of the food quality to price comparison here and drinks always cost more than your local watering hole. But for some reason I can't explain we keep going back. The food is good, just not worth what they charge in my opinion. Except the gumbo... Maybe that's what brings me back... Gumbo and alligator voodoo those are amazing and usually comprise my whole meal. I never feel bad about eating at fishbones I just always feel there was probably a better way to spend my money.

Food was too good, and they have quite a long list for cocktails/ beer. Definitely try their Lamb chop.the price of food is reasonable ($$) Also, the location of the restaurant is super cool. There are plenty of things you can do after eating.

Fishbones for fabulous funky fun food from New Orleans. Cajun and more with great seafood choices. Airy open space that is great for large parties and get together events. Nice happy hour through the week and weekend brunch options. Located in greektown kitty corner from the Old Shillelagh. Bar service is really nice also.
