Took my mother here for mother’s day this year. My bill was well over $100, which I had no issue spending. The staff are very nice. Not terribly diligent. The food is either hit or miss. For instance my mother got the trout and said it was wonderful. I got the crab legs and they were positively awful. I would have had better luck going to Walmart and buying them frozen. I, by no means, expect Michigan to have access to fresh crab legs. I do however expect my crab legs to be palatable when they are $40. I would recommend going somewhere else if you plan on paying the same price.

Went for mother's day brunch, how do you run out of food? I had 2:00 reservation sat down on time place was somewhat empty I'm thinking cool family went straight to buffet I went to get a waffle, got some bacon, little bit of hashbrowns. After that no food, there was a line of people waiting to eat and people still coming in the door. The manager explained to me there were more people then expected (but you took reservations). Mind you when we arrived the place was pretty empty. This was poor planning on management part, people were complaining in line and asking for a manager and they never showed. People were getting up leaving upset over the lack of food. I went to my table and asked my server for the manager. I will never go back again. How do you have a mother's day brunch and run out of food?

The staff was delightful. The decor an atmosphere was spot on. The piano guy was great. The service was slow slow slow did i mention service was slow. Food was cold, not warm, cold an nothing that screams i gotta go back. Probably never. Food very pricey an so not worth it. The fish was undercooked, with a very cold center. But again the staff was very pleasant an professional.

We had 5 o'clock reservations at Detroit Seafood Market for mothers day. We got there about 10 minutes early and the front door was locked. There was a cook outside smoking and he said they were resetting from mothers day brunch. Should only be about 10-15 minutes. After half an hour we had to call the restaurant 7 times before anyone even answered and they told us they weren't opening until 6. Now please just tell me why you see a crowd of people at your front door standing outside for 30 minutes and you cant even poke your head out to say you wont be opening after all? Unbelievable. Now everywhere else is booked solid for mothers day. Thanks a lot ✌

Love this place. Portions were very good and the food was tasty. Went there for dinner before the opera. I let them know this, and they were conscientious to get the meal in place before showtime. That was very much appreciated. Loved the experience.
