I was traveling during the summer of 2017, I had just finished riding the Michigan Tech Trails, on Michigan Tech. University’s campus, when I was told the best place to eat in Houghton was, Rodeo Mexican Kitchen. I loaded the bike up and headed down the hill to get some good post ride grub! I wasn’t disappointed, in fact, it was even better than I was told or even expected... I’m vegan so, I ordered the bean/rice veggie burrito and it was AMAZING! However they prepare their beans is what sent my burrito over the top, it was the best vegan burrito I have ever had so, good I stopped back in again on my way back through Houghton after spending a week in Copper Harbor. This time I ate one at the restaurant and also bought one for the road. I was on my way to the The Porcupine Mountains and needed some nourishment for the road. I wished I had bought two! I can’t recommend this place enough, the food was delicious, the service was great, and the bathrooms were clean. If you are in the area, stop in yourself, you won’t be disappointed. -Nicholas K. I used to work at Chipotle, and this is so much better. Best Mexican food in Houghton.

Always great burritos! Beef (not ground) or pork is the way to go.

Must visit every time you're in Houghton. It's a local burrito place with some of the greatest salsa I've ever had.
