Hidden gem in downtown Rochester. I have enjoyed excellent service from Danny , Sarah, Julia and exceptional food. My annual administrative staff holiday dinner was a great success here with Sarah serving. Then I recently took my sons here to celebrate two of their birthdays, one who is in the food and beverage industry, and all announced 5 stars on service, food and drinks.

Very authentic, the service was lovely! David was very helpful in making a decision and an absolute delight! The bread brought out was fresh and warm, the dipping oil tasted like fresh olives. We had the Melanzana Rollentini which is their breaded eggplant delicately wrapped around ricotta topped in a tomatoe basil sauce and mozzarella. The eggplant was perfectly cooked, not too thick and not too thin. I heard that the calamari is excellent here but I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of trying it during this visit. However, we shall return!

This is the second year we held our state swimmer dinner at Bologna's. We take up the back room. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. The food is Great! Family style for the swimmers and limited menu for parents. The staff is wonderful. They are able to satisfy very hungry swimmers pretty quickly. Thanks!

The food was mostly amazing. Few issues though...1) lighting is horrible! I couldn’t see in front of me. 2) The Traverse City Chicken and chicken cannoloni were amazing, the only problem was they were both DRY...Very dry. 3) The Tiramisu was essentially the worst I’ve ever had. No Mascarpone, no coffee, dry and made with whip cream. Side note....I’m 100% San Marinese (from San Marino 🇸🇲) and I know La Cucina Romagnola 😉

At first bite I could tell the calamari was delicious. And I couldn't tell which was more delicious, the sausage or the peppers. This is authentic Italian cooking at it's finest!
