"Red" was friends with my father; "Tom". My father told me about Red's passion for culinary art. Red had a professional kitchen in his home. He would devise recipes, and only take batches of his sauces to his business. Protecting his recipes. I haven't been back in years. Still I wonder. My father thought very highly of Mr. Knapp. I occasionally wonder who carries on the restaurant under his name. Guidepost.us

The shakes are great. thats about it. Chili dog was $3.75 with just chili. over $4 with cheese, shredded cold cheese. the chili was decent. the seasoned fries are good. My wife got a grilled ham & cheese sandwich with no sides for $6.05. If I come back it'll just be for the shakes or malts

Loved the milkshakes at this place. You get a lot for the price and the staff was very friendly. We had great service and it was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Loves the old school feel and decor on the walls.

The worst service I’ve ever had. I don’t expect to be treated with kindness but it’d sure be nice, I’m nice so I’d like to be treated nice back. The short blonde waitress there was incredibly rude to my friends. She gave us the wrong order and after we said it was wrong she said we were wrong. We then pointed out how the right order was on the check and she decided to ignore it. Then after an hr and a half of waiting I didn’t get the milkshake I ordered. So I go up to pay for us and I say hey we’re just trying to go so can we just pay for the stuff we got cause the milkshake never came around. Did she offer it? NO! Did she apologize? NO! Easily worst diner I’ve ever been to

Good, large, but not too thick burgers. Also, the restaurant has a style that looks old fashioned in a good way. Very unique setting. Feels like an old fashioned restaurant.
