La Casita has certainly changed the last few years. For the better. My fiance and I come here for happy hour quite a bit and every time our expectations are met. The food is good, the price is right and the drinks taste great. Only thing I would improve is the pace of service. I felt like we waited a long time between stops by our server. That being said, the servers are very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place if you're looking for a Mexican happy hour close to home.

La Casita has great food at a reasonable price. They offer a good selection of margaritas and other drinks in addition to running daily specials. They are also fairly celiac friendly, and many times have gone above and beyond expectations to review ingredients to verify something is gluten free.

On one hand, the food tasted great, the drinks were cheap, and the chips & salsa were unlimited. On the other hand, my food came with a long black hair int he meat (I have short brown hair), I showed the waitress and she offered to get me a new bowl of lettuce. Yes, she offered to get me a new bowl of iceberg lettuce after I discovered a hair in my meat, I also don't understand how that was the thought process. I expected her to knock a few dollars off my bill at the end or something, but she didn't. So I was left with this incredibly random story, and unlimited chips.

Last night, I was treated to supper at La Casita. Nice atmosphere...it's a clean, warm and welcoming place. The service was great and the food was savory and good. The only reason I withheld the 5th star was because I asked that my meal be sans cilantro (tastes like soap to me). When I bit into it, there was some cilantro taste in it. I decided not to send it back because it wasn't overwhelming and the rest of the savory ingredients somewhat made up for it. I know that I would've enjoyed it much more had it been free of the cilantro. All-in-all, I recommend La Casita restaurant for a nice place to have good Mexican meals at reasonable prices.

I come in here 2-3 times a week. Please do not believe all of these very silly poor reviews for this place. The food is solid, the portions are big, the people are great, and the management is solid (the owner is another story, but that’s no different than any other restaurant). The floors aren’t sticky, the place doesn’t smell like feces, they don’t rip you off for a ‘gift card you left on the table.’ Don’t expect any awards on the wall for best of anything, but I love this place and I always will. I recommend the combo 6.
