If you order the broiled fish on Friday be prepared for 2 extremely small pieces of fish. I guess if you order the deep fried it looks like you are getting more. Hard to find broiled fish offered in this area but won't be coming back here for fish.

Nice day to take a scenic along the Mississippi River. End up at the American legion Post 47 For a beer. Beautiful veiw of the river and bridge. Learned that the bridge was built of site and it was floaes down the river and lifted in to place.

It has a great patio and a beautiful view of the river and bridge. Employees were pleasant. Burger and fries were good. And great drink specials.

Ordered the "1/2 pound steak dinner" and wanted it 'medium rare' and they over cooked it to more than 'well done'. It came as dry as a beef jerky. Asked the waitress what happened to my order of medium rare and these were her words exactly.. "you know, they honestly don't pay attention to those details sometimes" and she left! My family and I were so shocked. Few mins later a different waitress came and asked if I wanted them to cook me up a different steak and I resoundingly said yes! Only then is when our waitress came to apologize for the bad original order. The second time around the steak came way more raw than medium rare with no sear on it. My guess is they didn't have the heat turned up high enough. We still decided to leave a small tip but I wouldn't recommend going there and if you do, don't order a steak. They have no idea what they are doing. Horrible customer service from waitresses and the cooks seem to not pay attention to detail.
