I don't do ratings often honestly, most times I read ratings they seem based on subjective amorphous standards that no business can hope to meet for every person. But I wanted to commend the staff at Fayze's for great service on Sunday afternoon (4/2/2018). Our server, Stephan, was attentive and considerate, he apologized for what he perceived as a long wait, and seemed genuinely concerned. The food was good and the selection was wide enough to be enticing without being overwhelming. We livlo that the owners appear to want to keep in touch with the old architecture of the building and the downtown area. That was a plus! My only complaint is that the lighting is far more dim than it is intimate. Bring in some new lighting and ditch the oil candles. The free basket treat on Sunday evening was excellent. Everyone loved their treat. Again, Stephan was an excellent server!

I have loved eating at this place since I was a tiny person. They have an in-house bakery that is absolutely fantastic. We went for breakfast and were able to order off the breakfast or the lunch menu at the time we were there. I had the Apple Cinnamon French toast which was delicious and my mother-in-law had a triple berry cream cheese French toast that was absolutely amazing. The kids were happy with their selection for kids menu items and everyone at the table split a giant cinnamon roll before the breakfast arrived as an appetizer and we all left full. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the La Crosse area.

Consistent high quality. If it's a weekend brunch, better get reservations. However, there are worse things than waiting in the cozy bar area with their awesome Bloody Mary's! Excellent menu, great service. A great main GO TO for locals.

It's a relaxing atmosphere with good options at an affordable price. Decent service and tasty food. Dessert is good, even to get a treat to go, since the meals are filling. A hidden cubbie with stickers that waitstaff show children after meal to pick out stickers makes it kid friendlier.

They're all right. They serve Americana, which really isn't a bad thing, but it doesn't give much really excellent variety. Anything what they say is a hot or spicy dish, is Midwestern hot, which is to say that sometimes it has a little bit too much ketchup. If I see Hot on a menu, I want to feel that in my mouth.
