The hype is real! This little bar and grill makes one of my top three favorite burgers. I was so eager to eat my burger, because they are so good, when I was here last that I forgot to snap a pic. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a trendy atmosphere or a classy joint but if you want an extremely good green chili cheese burger, great tasting bowl of beans, fries, and a satisfied stomach then this is the place!!

A wonderful, old time restaurant that takes you back in time! The food is amazing, especially the green Chile cheese burger. Fresh made and cut French fries and a wonderful staff! It's a must see/go to place anytime you are in the area. You can get a drink from the full bar and it's on the way to Ruidoso from Albuquerque, so an even better reason to stop in! Many famous people have passed through the doors, so don't forget to say Hi!

Always go to the Owl when in San Antonio New Mexico! Green Chile burger and the hottest, freshest fries you have ever had. Funky without trying. Like it so much more than the Buckhorn which gets more press.

Good service. Ice cold beer. Great service!! In and out way faster than any ol' in-n-out burger and WAY better!!

A piece of history! Good food and great margaritas! Enjoyed chatting with the owner about the many stories from the days of the secret meetings here in advance of the first atomic bomb detonation!
