I’ve only tried one thing but oh my god! It was amazing! Everything on the menu sounded delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu. I genuinely had a hard time deciding on what to get. Based on reviews the thing I saw the most was the Philly Seitan! I tried it and it was so good that a week later I went back and got it again! The restaurant has a cool feel to it. All the staff are super friendly the desserts seem to change up but they also look very good. Pricing was decent my only issue was parking but it’s Albany so I can’t expect much there. If you don’t eat meat I def advise a trip there and even if you it’s still worth it!

Food is pretty pretty good.. atmosphere and music is a little too devilish for me. Classical music not only makes us happy but increases the IQ and allows us to make proper moral decisions. It enhances the frontal lobe. The only part of the brain God can communicate with. Rock music inhibits it. Stay away young people. The devil is after our brains. God bless and again food is delish!!

Great small deli experience with fantastic vegan choices. Have eaten here a couple of times and the food has always been great. I can personally vouch for the Cubano and the Philly steak being crazy delicious. If you are looking for a reliable vegan option in Albany, this is a top option. Food can take a bit, especially if there is crowd, but well worth the wait.

Lively, not too loud music, floats through the air as I climb the few steps from street to seat. An old 12 panel windowed door provides a welcoming entrance. The place is buzzing but not too busy. They’re efficient, so I quickly get to the counter to place my order. I spot a spicy watermelon salad behind the glass as I’m getting ready to order my standard Reuben. I decide to add the watermelon salad to have something to eat while Reuben is being prepared. Salad and phone make excellent distractions for a guy who’s lived 63 years without learning patience. Finishing the last bite of the absolutely delicious watermelon salad I hear, “PETE”. Amazing, I expected a good 5-10 minutes of awkwardly fidgeting with my phone while waiting for the Rueben. I grab the tray with Reuben and side-salad and take a quick huge chomp. Delicious! Still surprised a meatless Reuben could taste this good. So satisfied with the entire meal I couldn’t resist grabbing a slice of the creamsicle cake for the road.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The food is always AMAZING. I've tried just about everything on the menu and I've never ever been disappointed. I love the baked goods, too. It's hard to find good vegan options in the area, but Berben & Wollf's does it right. Totally worth the trip from Schenectady to Albany!! YOU MUST DINE HERE!!
