We needed outside dining, they only had one empty table and told us we could use it until 7:30 for a quick beer and fries. At 7:31 a motorcycle pulls up. He in his bike leathers and full regalia. Sitting on the back dressed for a very formal date, gorgeous ankle length dress, silver motorcycle helmet was a young woman. They politely waited a few moments while we quickly. Moved our party to a recently emptied table. The waitress was great and a memorable evening by all.

I was here a few months ago, and Logan was great on the phone while making reservations, very personable and polite. Unfortunately I cannot recall the waiters name, but it was some of the the most exceptional service I have ever recieved in downtown Albany. The menu was impressive, and so delicious that complements were sent to the chef. I love how the dining area is between the kitchen where all of the beautiful smells and sounds came from, and the full length windows facing Lark st, which always has a great view, no matter the time of year. The service and staff were so amazing I look forward to bringing friends here every chance I get since its so close to my neighborhood. I will see you soon!

Admittedly, we only stopped in for one beer and didn't eat anything but enjoyed the atmosphere so much we stayed for a second. This is a great place and if we lived in Albany we would frequent this place. The barman was friendly and the patrons were happy to get to know us. It was truly a place where everyone knows your name.

I came here on Valentine's day, like the lonely loser that sees movies by themselves there happened to be 1 seat open at the bar. I had never been here before, but since it was V Day they had a special occasion menu. I got the 3 course meal with soup, filet, and a donut for dessert. The appetizer and dessert were forgettable but the entree was one of the best I ever had. It was filet mignon with roasted fingerling potatoes. Tender steak with crispy skinned spuds was even better than it sounds. I'm salivating right now as I type this with my stylus. You gotta try this place right on Lark street. The historic ambience and great food won't disappoint.
