How he treated his best employee was wrong. He is supposed to be a man of god. His head chef did everything he could and made sure the store ran properly when the owner wasn't there. That was like everyday. His last day was very stressful and took a toll on him. After the prior week he was at his wits end. Night cooks didn't properly put food up correctly and accurately. Chicken on top of beef and ribs left in cooler covered and sealed. Left 90 degrees all night. When chef was their he was amazing and an awesome cook. The food their is good but not same

My family took me there for my birthday (3/28). Matt our server was great. But the food was mediocre at best. We ordered Mac & Cheese and Baked beans as our sides and they were both store bought and not homemade as we were led to believe. Our meat was not hot when we received it. There were two other tables near us that wanted their server to take items off their check due to it being cold or inedible. I haven't been back since. We also went once for breakfast and their "All you can Eat" breakfast is rather misleading. There are far better BBQ places in this area.

Visited for the first time recently and will never be going back. $8.99 for a flavorless appetizer that barely served one person and was swimming in grease. $15.49 for a “2 Meat Plate” (this includes an upcharge for ordering ribs) which again, consisted of a portion which is barely fit for one person. The meats seemed to be flavorless and were pretty cold when served. It seemed that a selling point of the meal is that you get up to 4 “endless” side dishes at your table. Like the meat, the sides were incredibly disappointing. We ordered green beans and baked beans, both of which seemed like they came right from the can to the microwave to our plate. To sum things up, the brisket wasn’t good, the pulled pork wasn’t bad, but there was not nearly enough for the number of people who ordered it, and the ribs were fatty and flavorless. The sides and appetizers only disappointed me more. For the price, this dinner was probably the worst food I’ve ever had the displeasure of sampling.

I went to this restaurant when it first opened and I was really not impressed, but I understood that because they had just opened they needed to work some things out. I decided to give them another try and I am glad that I did. They had a suggestion box on the counter and they definitely have made some changes for the better! I have tried most everything on the menu and am a real fan of the Brisket Potatoes, there is nothing else around like it. They have recently added new desserts and changed their macaroni and cheese recipe so it is much more flavorful. I took a family of four to dinner there and ordered the 3 meat platter and an order of ribs. None of us left hungry, but I do wish they would put eggs in their macaroni salad. If you tried this place early on when they first opened, please be fair and give them another try, you won't be sorry. I would hate to see another business around here go under. They have trivia nights, a eating challenge, and are always running some sort of special. As for the man who complained that their was no alcohol, well they did that on purpose, it is meant to be a family restaurant!

Food was very, very tasty. Fair prices and large portions. It wasn't super warm food, but I don't think food like this should be super hot (think family picnic). Owners and staff are VERY friendly and amazing people. Bear with them as they are learning.
