They only get the 4 stars because the experience has been hit or miss for us. Good food reasonably priced (most of the time). Not a fan of their miso soup. Only had it once though so maybe it's better on other days.

Worst experience ever, had our meal mind our own business. Left a tip. The waitress named Christina literally followed us outside to ask us to tip her more saying she’s from French and since I’m an American I need to tip her more because according to her I make like 20$ an hour. And she said she only makes 7$ an hr and she has bills to pay.. but yet she was just standing there eating on the job... rude waitress never again will I go back! Who comes out to harass you to ask for more on a tip..??? What did she do? She only brought the plates for us and she feels like she deserves $50.

The place was great! It was fairly busy there, but the food came out surprisingly fast considering. You get a lot of food, and it was very tasty. (Maybe a little on the salty side, but I find most restaurant food to be a tad too salty.) Service was excellent as well. My only gripe is the food is definitely more on the expensive side. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

We love Yum Yum. Nice atmosphere, staff and the food is really yum! Some great options for vegans and vegetarians too which is always appreciated.

Horrible service ever! Me an my boyfriend just stop by this place for lunch. It was our first time to visiting Kingston, all the way from Manhattan. When we get into the restaurant, no one really taking care of us, so we have to standing at the door about 10 mins and just wait..! And finally one Spanish lady come to us and made an eye gesture to seat empty table! What a nice service experience!! Anyhow, we finally got our seat, but clearly she keep pretending that we are invisible. No water, no asking order, nothing. I don’t believe it’s because of busyness since she keep taking care of other table’s water, order, checks and even to-go order! So we decided to step out without ordering any food. And she just watched our leaving without any willingness to help or sorry, of course she don’t care whether we are leaving or not. If I need to spend my money to this restaurant, I rather eat snow on the ground. Hell NO! First impression of Kingston was big no, because of this place!!!
