My wife and I went camping at Allegheny this past weekend. We drove 35 minutes to Beef & Barrel...and we liked it so much that we went both nights we were there. This place has the best porterhouse steak I've ever had. Both nights...the food was totally perfect. Great service too. Highly recommended and absolutely worth traveling to.

Quite good with reasonable prices and good service. I came with my seven co-workers on a Thursday night and they were very accommodating. As a NYC local, drinks here are insanely cheap, Jack and Coke were $4.25.... unheard of downstate! I shared the Delmonico Steak special and combo appetizer with one co-worker, the steak was HUGE and the appetizer quite tasty.

Excellent place to eat. A fantastic selection of meats. A very quiet and relaxed location. Top notch service and friendly staff. I'm visiting for work, and will definitely return again next time.

That was the smallest Filet I’ve ever received in a restaurant! And, it was over cooked...flavor was just OK. The Old Fashioned was decent, but they didn’t stir it so it started strong then got too sweet. The best part of the meal was the wedge salad, and that was only marginal. Overall, not impressed.

We always have good food and great service every time we come. They have amazing beef and delicious desserts. Can't wait to come again.
