Ok, the remodel is great. The place looks good and it's spacious and bright. But the experience was awful. My fiance and I just went this morning for the first time, we've heard a lot of good things so wanted to check it out. Well, it was horrible. First, we noticed it was quite empty so we thought it was going to be quick and easy. Nope. It took nearly 10 minutes just to be seated. Second, it took nearly 20 minutes for us to simply put in our drink order and actually get our drinks. Then, another 10 minutes before we put our food order in. Third, took nearly 30 minutes to get our food. The appetizer came out with our food and I was very disappointed. The nachos had a huge pile of chips with only a small amount of toppings only the top and everything was cold. I can't entirely blame the waitress because it isn't her fault that the restaurant is understaffed. But this place really needs to do better.

My family and I decided to order from Denny's in Gastonia. I waited 25-30 minutes looking at my family's food order, fries and all, sitting on the counter. Finally, an employee came up to me and said she was very sorry but the cashier was in the back talking about the"tea not tasting right" and said she would be up here shortly. She then returned to the back with ALL of the rest of the employees. I then waited another 30-35 and the woman that had came out the first time came back out and back up to me and said "honey I'm gonna just go ahead and get you rung up so you can get out of here". I get home to find that out m. .. I returned to Denny's and explained to the SAME lady as before. She gave me the 2 plates that they had apparently left in their kitchen when they brought our order up to the front. Yes, it was ALL cold. It was just REALLY not the dining experience I had expected nor hoped for. Very disappointed 🙁

At first I gave them a five star rating but now I have to drop it down to two stars. I don't understand what is going on with this place. I don't know if it's the management or the poor quality help that they hire. It is inexcusable to be sitting at a table and waiting 20 to 30 minutes for your drink to arrive. Then you have to wait another 40 to 60 minutes for your meals to arrive. At check out, I waited 15 minutes at the register and no one was to be found. I could have walked out, but I'm not that type of person. Every time we go there, we time them to see how long it takes them to take our order and the food come to our table. I had ordered something and it was completely wrong, and even the manager and waitress said this is all wrong and missing items. I wish corporate would get on management and the people that they hire. This could be a great place, because they have great food but the wait is ridiculous. This place is a hit or miss. You never know what kind of service you will get when you go there.

This place hasn't been open very long and it's the first one that I've seen in Charlotte Area since I've been here for over 10 years. I was happy to be able to visit a Denny's and get my favorite moons over my hammy sandwich. It was just as delicious as I remembered. The restaurant is very open and spacious and the tables are not all crowded together. The inside is very modern and looks like a great place to spend time with your friends and family. The service was okay but I don't feel like our server was very attentive. The place was very clean and I will go back.

First off, the food, me and my friend went between the hours of 9:15-11. They took forever to give us menus, drinks, and food that's why we were there. Second, the staff was horrible, or waitress was nice, but everyone else especially your manager those 3 days ago. They had an argument loud enough for children and everyone to hear. Cussing, screaming, etc at each other. I forgot I was even in a restaurant, I thought I was at a high school fight fest due to the level of immaturity. Food had no seasoning, took to long, the shouting and arguing. I had to tell a couple and their kid before entering this establishment that they were yelling. Another lady decided to call corporate and I as a local guide will make sure that everyone possible sees this message. Disgusting and Childish. I wish I could put a lower rating. WAS one of my favorite places.
