Salad bar was great. Fresh and flavorful. The croutons we're fresh and to die for. Steve so much salad I took my hamburger home for later. Had a buy one get one half price made the trip even better. In short a good place to eat.

Absolutely fantastic food such an amazing salad bar. This location was my absolute favorite in NC. They offer a full salad buffet meal with excellent toppings and the freshest vegetables. The tables and dining area is extremely clean and our waitress showed the utmost class.

I really don't know what to think about the Gastonia Ruby Tuesday anymore. The salad bar has always been fresh and well attended when I have been there, unfortunately that is where the positive experience ends. On our last two visits (the most recent of which was last night) it seems like they have fired all of the kitchen staff and servers and replaced them with people that have had no training whatsoever. I ordered the crispy chicken mac and cheese...part of the Complete Dinner for Two deal and they achieved what one would think is impossible with that dish. The plate came out hot enough to burn you yet the pasta was cold....not room temperature, I'm talking refrigerated cold. I don't know how you can cook pasta (it was cooked) and still have it end up that cold. The servers were walking around in a confused daze, like they really didn't know what they were supposed to be doing. After 15 minutes I had to walk across the restaurant and speak with another server to have them go track ours down...she never came back to check on us after the food was delivered and had disappeared. Our experience from 2 months ago was similar, although not quite as bad. After two bad experiences at a place we just stop going because there are just too many good dining experiences to be had in this town. It's just a shame because there are very few excellent salad bars around and as good as this one is it does not make up for the poor food preparation and terrible service.

Service was very good. Our server was Star and she took good care of us. Food was good, salad bar was fabulous as usual. Only complaint was a cheeseburger that was really greasy that was sent back. Otherwise a good meal and the updates they've done to the salad bar and interior make it a lot more inviting.

I frequent here because of the service, food and wait. It's normally not as busy as the other places. Chicken and Steak options are good; and are always flavorful. Appetizers are a bit odd and unconventional, but good. Service is good, and waitstaff are normally friendly and prompt. Food is inexpensive compared to some other restaurants that serve similar food.
