Great selection of beer, friendly and helpful staff and a few vegetarian choices on the menu. This is a great place to get a beer and food. I am vegetarian and they have a few really great vegetarian dishes on the menu as well as non vegetarian food. All the food came out in a very timely fashion and was great. If you are in Black Mountain I highly recommend Trail Head.

Good food and good beer selection at a very reasonable price. Several options for those looking for meals featuring plant-based protein. This is one restaurant that we can count on to provide consistently good service and is routinely on our short-list of pubs to visit when visiting Black Mountain.

Service was excellent. I have been several times and am always impressed with the food. Burgers are awesome with many ingredient selections. Salads are fresh and full of flavor. Hot wings were cooked perfect and the in house made hot sauce was the best. Restrooms clean. Plentiful parking.

Great food and beer selection. Slow service. Took 45 minutes to get food from the time we were ready to order, and it wasn't busy. Burgers we're very good though.

Great service for sure, food?,better stay with drinks. Pulled pork was horrid, burger over done, got to eat the fries with a fork because they break while trying to dip. But what amazed me the most was the way they messed the mac and cheese. If I wanted soup and and mac ,I'd order one. Stay thirsty my friends.
