If you like the movie My Cousin Vinny, you'll love Stella's Cafe of Plymouth (think Joe Pesci - I'll have the breakfast"). This old school diner / antique mart is nestled next to the Roanoke River. Had to give it 5 stars for the southern charm and old bitty sitting next to us in between smoke breaks. North Carolina back country eats at their finest!

My sisters and I visited Plymouth on a rainy day and finding Stella’s Cafe was a pleasant surprise. This restaurant is clean, cozy and very comfortable. The lady (I assume the owner) was very friendly and personable and the food was delicious, reasonably priced and in generous portions. I would definitely eat there again.

Stopped in at Stella's on the way back from our OBX vacation. We were looking for some home cooked food and somewhere the locals would eat. At first site I was concerned because the place was empty and was just kind of old and not very inviting. The service was wonderful and the food was good. It was like have lunch at a relatives. Nothing fancy, but filling, well priced and just what we were looking for, we will stop back in on our next trip.
