Amazing!!!! What a find! we visited oak island for the first time and decided to try this place out since they were one of the few that were open on a Monday, off season. Absolutely fantastic food! Not one thing wrong with any of the dishes we tried - and we sampled a lot. Their cheesecake was made in house as were all their desserts - food was phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back! Staff was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Really really enjoyed this restaurant. Seafood was fresh, and also one of the few you could get a good steak and fish!

This is "the place." One block from my house, and I eat there at least once per week. Dinner last night was typical--beef medallions topped with scallops and crab, served with "fresh off the cob" corn and green beans. Everything is always fresh and prepared to perfection. Then it is served with smiles and friendly conversation. After at least 50 times here, I have never had a complaint. The bar is a great place for meeting people, both locals and visitors. Go hungry, as portions are plentiful. Make reservations. They get busy and deservedly so. Don't miss this place.

You haven't really been to Southport if you haven't eaten at Mr. P's. Every visit I take here has never disappointed me once! Try the Prime Rib or the Scallops - both are the best I've ever had. Staff is a little young but very very professional.

Great meal! Went with 2 others and we all loved our meals. Can't wait until I return to Southport to eat there again.

Diverse menu and great portions! Try to save room for dessert! Had a great meal and great service. We will be back for our next special occasion.
