Phenomenal all-around restaurant that does everything well... except the steaks ;) Staff is incredibly friendly and treat the regular customers like family. Decor is classy, but the atmosphere is relaxed. The food tastes absolutely delicious! She crab soup is a must have. The steak is amazing! Even the sides are noteworthy. I've heard they're actually closing soon. I know! It's unbelievable! Stop what you're doing. Cancel your plans. Go to 18 Seaboard. It's just that good :)

Love this restaurant! Not too far from Main Street downtown but what a nice surprise! I had a great experience with 18 Seaboard! The ambiance was very cozy and the staff were super nice! I had the whiskey smash and it was divine. The brussels sprouts could use a little more time in the oven but it was yummy.

It’s sad to see that this place is closing. I thoroughly enjoyed coming here for my friends engagement. It was actually a surprise engagement. They rented out the private room in the back of the restaurant. The room was a great size. When you rent this room the cost is approximately $40 per person which includes the buffet plus a drink. You choose the menu. The food was absolutely amazing. The mashed potatoes are out of this world. I loved the shrimp and grits as well as the salad. The dressings tasted homemade. Parking can be a little confusing as you enter from the P St. entrance that is actually the back of the restaurant and then you have to walk to the front of the restaurant. However it’s all good once you get inside. The staff was so nice. I would love to come back here. Hopefully before they close those location.

Nice decor. But my catfish was a small portion. Others got respectable sized portions of their entrees. Food was good otherwise.

It was our first visit, and we thought that our grad student grandson was trying to impress his new girl friend by taking us there. The menu presented sticker shock. The food and service warranted it, however. The quality of the food was superb, cooked to perfection and the service was the type one would expect: attentive, not intrusive, and precisely accurate. The description of the offerings was accurate, and adjustments to the menu were not an issue. The food was delivered hot. However, the menu choices were very limited, and the quantity of food matched (large plates, little food). The dessert I ate was okay, but not for the price. I had ice cream a la mode (you read it correctly), and what I got was a single small scope of vanilla -- perhaps about 35 grams. Our next trip will definitely include this restaurant, but we'll definitely avoid the desserts.
