The Cook Out has great food at a really affordable price. My favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich tray with a huge tea, or with one of the many choices of milkshakes. It's close to the highway so you can get back on your way quickly, or dine inside and relax for a bit. Lots of patrons so the food has always been freshly prepared.

Usually my experience at cook out is awesome, food is always good and a good price too, tonight I went through the drive through of the Salisbury Cook out and got two trays, one with onion rings in it. Never had any issues before, but when my boyfriend opened up his tray we were both shocked when we discovered completely raw and frozen onion rings laying on the rest of his fried food. Tried to call the store to complain to a manager but no one seems to know how to pick up the phone, cookout is usually busy but tonight was no where near as busy as I’ve seen it in the past, generally there are two long lines that you have to wait in for 15-20 minutes, dont really understand how this happened but cookout might have lost two very loyal customers over this. Nothing can be done to fix this experience, but whoever is responsible for putting this on his plate should be fired and should never be allowed to work in the food industry again, food safety is extremely important for the health and the safety of the public, and tonight I am utterly disappointed that we spent money here.

Food was great thw service was great! I really enjoyed my visit. Everytime I go to cook out my food is great and the service is great! I think for the money and the quality of food and the quantity cook out is the best place to go! Plus the milkshakes are out of this world! I don't think I've ever had a better milkshake from another place so cook out really is the best place to go to in Salisbury!

It's always packed but there's a reason why. Cookout is a very underrated gem in the south. It's a great place for a highschool youth to begin to build the work skills in a fast paced environment. Not to mention the food is great a little sloppy sometimes but I personally think that adds to the appeal of the restaurant. Very family friendly, very youth friendly, just very friendly in general. I mean who doesn't love a good cookout.

This place is great for a late night snack and I've seen a line to wait completely around the building inside and the staff handles it in stride. However the PARKING is horrendous. My daughter's HS friend got towed ILLEGALLY and had to pay $280 to get her car and ruined a great night. Cook Out should warn patrons and I hope the Hibacci Buffet buffet next store closes down for having this huge parking lot, not being open and towing patrons.
