This home-cooking restaurant has so many good choices on its menu. My lunch of fish sandwich, coleslaw and onion rings was delicious!

Have been eating at Thelma's for years and loved it! This last visit was terrible. As they brought out the food they informed us that there was only one serving of country-style steak left. Three of us had ordered it. They were out of many things on the menu. A group of 10 that was seated next to us left after hearing about so many items not available on the menu. Unusually for Thelma's several items were overcooked. The wait staff told us that there was no manager on duty. All in all a terrible experience which really disappointed me in a restaurant I had grown to love.

Me & the family were in search for some good ole soul food & like other folks these days I went to Google to search for one close to my small town & came upon Thelmas.I saw that there were two locations and the downtown location was the one that had a breakfast menu. So we went to the downtown location and needless to say the service was not pleasant at all. Our waitress wasn't nice at all. She act as if she didn't even want to be there. The food wasn't up to Soul Food standards. Maybe we should have just went to the other location off of Jake Alexander who knows?

i have been to the new location 3 times now, the hash browns were ok. A little grease, eggs where perfectly over medium, bacon was undercooked and barely warm by the time it arrived my table. I too may have to request for it to be a little crunchy. The French toast where good. It wasn't too terrible but not the best either. There is deffenetly room for improvement.
