Neat, homey, comfortable place with dark wood paneling and floors, right on the Muskingham River. We got the jumbo shrimp, crab cakes, and fish and chips (3 people eating). The fish and chips was the best, followed by the shrimp, and then the crab cakes, which were good but the other food was better. Our waitress, Blake, was very attentive and she kept our tea glasses full. The raspberry tea was great, not too sweet but just right. We'll be back next time we pass through that area.

Its more of a bar than a restaurant. Food was good. Price was up there. It is not wheelchair accessible and very tight inside. Thank you to the friendly patrons for assisting me with getting the people in wheelchairs through the doors.

Went here to celebrate a birthday dinner for a friend. The food was pretty good. Location right by the river is a nice setting from the outside seating. Parking isn't the best but worth a stop to check out the atmosphere.

My family and I were driving through and needed to make a fuel and restaurant stop, and we ended up in Zanesville and more specifically Muddy Misers. We had the crab cakes and enjoyed them tremendously. Not a local, but would stop here again for a meal.

We were looking for something close to the highway while traveling, but wanted to avoid all the usual chain places. This was delightful and well worth the brief detour from the highway. We will definitely be back if we happen by this way again. Great food, atmosphere, and service. A real treat.
