Like Greek food? Like gyros? Just like good food? This is a place to check out. May be a little on the pricey side for a pick up and eat snack, and there's hardly any seating inside, but probably the best gyros you can buy in Corvallis. Glad I stopped by and tried it out.

Alley Gyros does not possess much atmosphere to boast about, but as gyro places go, it's above average. The meat is pretty tasty. I'd steer clear of the falafel because it's rather dry, but if you're vegetarian or vegan yet determined to eat here, the good news is that the veggies and sauces available in the topping bar give you plenty of options to cover it up. Come to think of it, that's really the best news about this place. Get a gyro and put everything on it. The fries are sometimes good, but their ancient fryer can't keep up so when they're busy, the oil cools off and makes the fries greasy and disgusting.

Liked it. Food was good, little high price but not enough to not enjoy. Shop is tight. Will go again

Expensive a decent gyro not a good selection of drinks and the straws are garbage.

Pros: Absolutely delicious gyros, made from sliced lamb and other meats, not just ground meat on a huge spit. You get to add your own toppings from a bar with about 10 choices, which was also great. Cons: Soggy fries, though they were cut from fresh potatoes just before cooking, which is nice. We were there the day of the total eclipse and it was a bit busy - but not crazy. The woman behind the counter was complaining the entire time about how hard she had to work. I felt sorry for her - but there was really no point in going on about it constantly in front of customers.
