The serving sizes are HUGE! But that's not necessarily a bad thing. My girlfriend ordered chocolate chip pancakes, but got chocolate chip waffles. Interesting. That's okay though, they still tasted great! The orange juice was... unique. Definitely not real orange juice. So be wary with that. The pink lemonade and the hot chocolate were amazing though!

I understand this place gets ridiculously crowded on football weekends, but we were in town for a lacrosse game and experienced zero wait with a party of ten at 8:30am. Food was great, prices were right, atmosphere was informal and unpretentious. Just the kind of place to bring your family or to nurse a hangover (or both).

Woke up early to get breakfast before a final and got there a little after 6. (They open at 6:00 AM). The door was locked and we stood outside in 15 degree weather even though the waitress and bus boy saw us outside. At 6:05, the waitress finally came and opened the door. I asked her and said, "I thought you opened at 6:00?" she rudely replied, "it is 6:00." I replied back, "my watch says 6:05" as I looked down at my watch and looked a the clock on my phone which said 6:05. She replied back in an even ruder manner, "well that's your clock, my clock says 6:00." We turned around and walked out the door as she made another rude remark to us. I will take my business elsewhere in downtown State College from now on.

Understaffed. Rude waitress. Rotten tomatoes on my eggs Florentine. Watered down pancake syrup.

This waffle shop on East College had waitstaff that weren't the friendliest. Not to mention the $1.50 charge for SALSA that was the CRAPPIEST recipe for salsa I've ever seen. I'm sorry but if you are going to charge for every little thing you get in there, at least make it what it's supposed to be, and not marinara with OREGANO and some pickled jalapeno peppers. I will pick a DIFFERENT waffle shop restaurant to visit, thank you!
