I've eaten here a couple of times. The first time I was waiting a while for my food. The more recent time I had a fantastic experience, but I feel like that is not typical for this restaurant, so I am hesitant to give a 5 star review. I think it's worth noting that if you go at a busy time when they are short-staffed (which is almost any time you are likely to go there), you will be waiting a while for your food, and maybe even waiting to be seated. If you want to have a good experience, go towards the end of the Sunday night rush, they are actually staffed properly at that time, it seems. The quality of the food here is better than a lot of places, and their burgers are (when done correctly) about on par with Red Robin and for about the same price. Here is the rundown of my last visit: First of all, our server was excellent, I don't know if that's typical for this location, (I think we got lucky.) Server refilled drinks frequently, brought food out at exactly the right times. As soon as we finished our appetizer, bam, there was the main course. The tortillas with spinach dip are excellent. Had 'Cheese-steak' Burger for main course, I highly recommend it. I ordered the burger pink in the middle and the cook did a great job with my burger, but unfortunately, burned my gf's burger. Burger came with a side of fries, which were some of the best I've had in a long time. We dropped the extra money on dessert, which was excellent. If you are looking for a restaurant that has great desserts, this is probably your place. Dessert was high-quality and a very large portion. I will say that we were seated directly underneath an air vent which was drawing air directly from outside when it was 39 degrees out. Needless to say, I was not amused by this. I don't blame the server as much as I blame whoever is in charge of their thermostat. Ambiance-wise, despite the restaurant not being very busy, every time I go in here there is always at least one rowdy, raucous party somewhere near where I am seated. The people three booths behind us were being so loud it was as if I was eating in a sports bar. I wish I knew what joke was told at their table because it must've been damn funny; they were laughing loud enough to wake the dead. Price-wise, it is about $70 after tip for two people to eat here if you split an appetizer and both get dessert, and about the same for three people to eat with no desserts or appetizers. If you have the money and the appetite, I definitely recommend trying the appetizers and desserts. I don't eat out often, so if I am going to drop $70 on one meal, I have the expectation of a quiet atmosphere, comfort, and an excellent dining experience. So far, I haven't seen it at a chain restaurant, and Friday's is no exception. Eating out always seems to involve compromise (sadly) and it is very rare to have anything approaching an ideal experience. However, if you are looking for a shorter wait time than Olive Garden and lower prices than the $50/plate Bonefish Grill, then this place may in fact be the lesser of two evils if you are planning a night out.

Placed a to go order. It was promised to be ready at 7:56. I arrived a few minutes after 8 to allow a few extra minutes. I had To ask for my order twice and finally at 8:35 I revieved my food order. Mind you, I ordered Two items. Got home and the order was I correct The service at this location is a joke. Do yourself a favor and drive to Willow Grove!

I won't be coming back to this TGIF for awhile. I sat at the bar since there was a 30 minute wait for a table. There were two main girls behind the bar, one of them immediately introduces herself and the other girl. That was where the attentive customer service ended. After I requested a drink, it took a really long time for her to make and serve it. During that time she keeps taking a break from making my drink and gets drinks for others. I understand my drink involves more steps but that was ridiculous. The drink was good though. Then comes the food. The sirloin steak was completely overdone. I wasn't able to take more than one bite. Nice portion of mashed potatoes. They were very good. Plently of broccoli which also tasted great. The seasoned shrimps were small but tasted much better than the larger shrimps I've had at similar restaurants. I finish my food and couldn't get her attention as she goes back and forth. I wait and wait and wait and finally she comes over to me and hands me the check without asking if I wanted anything else or another drink. I don't think that has ever happened to me before. There are times when a waitress is ready to hand you the check but still asks if you want anything else. After more food and (a simple) drink (which also took her a very long time to make), I once again can't get her attention and she at no point checks up on me so finally after a good while, I was able to get the other girl's attention and asked her for the check. If I wanted to be ignored I would have stayed home. The bar was only a third full at most, she couldnt have been that busy and table waitresses were there making drinks for their tables so it's not like she had to make those drinks too. I'll give it six months to allow some staff turn over then I'll return and give it another try. Very disappointed at the service.

Consistently good food and service at this location. Staff are always friendly.

This place needs to be closed down, completely remodeled, and a complete new staff needs to be hired. I Went on a Sunday afternoon and it took over 45 mins to get an app & a burger. The walls on the booths are filthy, seriously covered in food, drinks, grime. The women's bathroom was disgusting the one stall was out of order, the middle stall doesn't have a lock, and the last and only usable stall didn't have toilet paper. Has this Friday's ever been cleaned or remodeled since 2000? Also when did the prices become insane $13 for an app of nachos? Mozzarella sticks $9? A cheeseburger $13? Save your money & Time and go to one of the new places around the mall, this place is dirty, the servers take their time getting to you, getting your order, bringing your food, and then trying to flag them down for your check is impossible. All I wanted was a quick good burger and it turned into an hour and half of waiting. Also 1 burger & 1 app & 1 soda = $25. Close this down and remodel, or close down and let a new fun bar take its place.
