We went here for the first time with friends who love this restaurant. The staff is super nice and want to make your dining experience enjoyable. The restaurant is clean and though it's a fairly large building, the dining areas seem really cozy. I ordered the fried chicken, sweet corn and brown butter noodles. The food was so good! The chicken was cooked perfectly- juicy in the middle, crunchy on the outside and not greasy at all. The sides were delicious. My friend let me try her corn nuggets and wow! Those things are really really delicious. I think they are corn bread batter mixed with corn that's dropped into oil to make nuggets. The result is a soft corn filled center and a thin crust. Definitely try these little wonders if you like corn bread.

This is usually my go to place to eat when I visit Pennsylvania, which is usually every 3 months or so. The food has always been great. And the staff is as friendly as can be. However, this last time i found the food a bit flavorless and the "clean" utensils were pretty dirty with dry crust on them. Hopefully it was just a 1 time fluke as i absolutely love this place. Hoping for a better experience next time around...

This is an interesting place to dine. I believe that family atmosphere expresses what i experienced pretty well. You are seated with a group of other people unless you have a group big enough already. The food was brought out as it would be at home and it is passed around. They keep the dishes filled so nobody misses out. It was a lot of fun talking to the other people seated with us. One family came down from Canada. There was a snowbird couple returning from Florida. Good food! Great experience.

This is probably my most favorite place to eat at. It may be a little off-putting for some to be seated with a table full of strangers, but they quickly become friends. The food is very very good. And plentiful. You can very easily over indulge at this place. Though there is a menu option, its better to eat family style. You have no choice in what you eat, but thats perfect. The fried chicken is perfect and the meatloaf is divine. There are a multitude of sides that they serve as well. The whole time they are bringing food out they keep saying to save room for dessert. There are FIVE desserts! Shoo-fly Pie is a Lancaster staple and you have to try it.

Great spot to eat lunch or dinner. Kinda touristy with the tour busses but I think they have a separate dinning area for them. Food was hot and fresh and was out within 10 min. Great hearty meals. Friendly wait staff. They aslo have a few farm animals out back.
