Very good food. I had the scallop pasta with black olive and arugula. The grilled bread is also a great choice to go with any entree. A very cool restaurant but was extremely noisy. If you want a happening scene this is it. If you need to carry on a quiet conversation this is not the restaurant for you

Love this place, whenever I am in Philly I go there at least once if not more. Food is consistently great. Severs are helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the last time I was there no hostess/host when I entered ( it was early and pouring outside and other than the bar it was pretty empty), waited a while, bartender saw me -- he said nothing, so finally I walked back to chef's counter and sat down there were only two people at the counter, I left one seat between them and myself. A little while later, a menu was plopped down in front of me by the host and he walked away, not a word said. Not how you treat customers.

Not overbearing but very friendly server. Attentive too. Cozy vibes and very homey. I had chicken and it really went well. Would come back for their pizza. I felt full just by smelling it.

It’s sad that I have to give it a three star review. We tried all the other affiliated restaurants and we loved them... just not Barbuzzo. We went for lunch during restaurant week to try it out. I got the swordfish; it was fresh, but no flavor. There were veggies on the side but the entire dish was just plain. My husband got the pizza; the bottom was doughy and the top was watery. We also got tiramisu for dessert, which is $1 more than Little Nonna’s but less tasty. If you’re looking for a similar type of food, I would recommend Bud&Marilyn’s over this place.

I had really high hopes for this place given the hype but I was disappointed. The beet salad is great! The fall shaved salad was light and lacking flavor. The chicken was okay. Our pasta was good! Both very salty though. But our red wines were actually terrible.... like grape juice bad. The pizza looked great though. I’d go back for pizza, salad, and a beer!
