Vernick is excellent! I have only been here once now but I cannot wait to go back. I have never seen anyone make eating toast into such an event. Amazing food and top notch service. It is a bit noisy at times but I expect that from any great, extremely popular restaurant. Bottom line, focus on the food and wine and you won't notice the decibels around you!

Must book in advance! They’re always packed. The grilled romaine with fig and cheddar is a winner. It’s been on their menu for several years and for good reason. The potato pave and duck sausage were also great. Wish I had a photo of the Parmesan custard, that is another dish you can’t miss.

Great ambiance and mind blowing food! Not to mention, great service. Our server explained every dish on the menu. The food itself, where was it based or why and perfect food-drink pairings. His recommendations were all great and we were not disappointed.

Wow wow wow!! We went there Sat night for our anniversary. The food was simply amazing!! Our waiter Michael was VERY knowledgeable. He told us about the food, the inspiration for the dishes, how the owner trained, why he picked some of the dishes and pairings, just a wealth of knowledge. The food alone was amazing but Michael just added so much to the experience. We will definitely be coming back w friends and family in tow. The ambience is great but the food is mind blowing.

This was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in Phila (on several occasions) while searching out some of Philly's best The dishes are interesting and thoughtful. The owner regularly chats with guests, the servers are knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was lively. More importantly, the food is outstanding....my only complaint is when seated upstairs the noise level is horrible and they need to put some sound dampening materials up there
