I wanted to like this place. Its local and not a chain. I like the true southern concept of this restaurant and the fish I had tasted good and was real fish. That is about the best I can say about this restaurant. The staff didn't know what they were doing, the food was slow and the fries were over cooked and old. There were TV screens above the counter where the menu was supposed to be but they were off so I found a menu online while I was waiting for service. While sitting down you could see aspects of a bar a nightclub and a fast food restaurant. Not a good combination. I really hope somebody who knows how to run a restaurant comes in and straightens them out. It could be really good but right now it's not.

Food is good. Customer service is good. Decor is average.

Extremely warm and respectful staff😃 However, they need to lick it a notch if they want to stay in business. First, condiments and napkins/napkin holders should be on tables. Second, there should be more of a selection in can beverages. Third, that pie was not home made and put some pictures on the wall for an award winning ambiance. Lastly, this location is in Wilkinsburg but your place of business does not have to be what the city of Wilkinsburg has become. Strive higher, set high expectations! The fries were delicious! The staff professional and polite demeanors, great for customers. Aim higher and good luck on the business overall.

The food was good, but a little too spicy for me. Especially the cole slaw.
