We had a phenomenal meal here. We started with some very well prepared craft cocktails. We then shared a soup. The salad was delicious, as were the very flavorful entrees. Attentive service was a plus. I'd be a regular here if I lived in Columbia.

Always unique and excellent food with perfect service. Plus, they make their own desserts. None of that slicing cheesecake from the grocery store. MSC is also perfectly lit with beautiful art on the walls and a great beer menu. This is truly one of Columbia's best restaurants. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

The food is exquisite, and the service is really made my experience above and beyond the norm. I sat at the bar for dinner on a busy Friday, and the staff read my needs so fluidly and quickly. I was attended to, but not overly so. The host, bartender, manager, and waiter were all friendly without being fake, and it was easy to see that they genuinely cared about my dining experience. The staff pays attention to details without being fussy. The same could be said about the food; truly delicious, lovingly prepared, without being overwrought. I love when you go to a place to eat, and you can really tell everyone loves working there. Maybe it's the work environment, maybe it's how much care goes into the menu. Either way, Motor Supply Company delivers. Did I mention that my meal was exquisite? This is a wonderful, and unique, place to go in Columbia.

It's been wonderful watching this restaurant continue to grow and excel since putting a flag in the ground as the first independently owned find dining restaurant to really make a go of it in the Vista when the district was just starting out in 1989. Motor Supply is at the top of its game 30 years later. So much love.

Very Enjoyable Place with a Good Variety -. Portions of appetizers, and salad we're a bit small for the price, but all very good. Mussels we're okay, but the broth made it very good. Bread was very good as the intro item to snack on and with the mussels. The beet salad was very good, but the proportion of beets to salad was pretty large, and the first time I missed the salad a bit. The beets were very good and although it wasn't proportion well I still really did like it and felt like I had a great tasting meal all the way around. Others had duck, and another fried oyster salad and they smelled great. I will return and bring others to try it.
