We came with a large group and sampled everything offered on the menu that day. All of the fried meats were good, but most of the sides were not. Mac and cheese was an unrecognizable mush, the corn came from a 10lb can, and the cornbread is the Jiffy boxed mix. Avoid the lemonade. We actually would enjoy the "hole on the wall atmosphere" if the food was amazing... Unfortunately, I just didn't think it lived up to what I'd read about it.

The food is superb and the staff is so family friendly. I have always loved the warmth you feel when you walk in the restaurant you know you're in for a great homemade meal made with love. Everyone needs to visit and have a Bertha's experience. Love you guys!!!!
