We had the best mothers day lunch here today. Our server was amazing, the food was delicious, and the stmosphere is always nice. My mom is super picky with food, but this is always a winner. We will definitely be back. Worth every penny! 🙂 thanks for the great mothers day!

J. Alexander's presents consistently fine food, service, and atmosphere. This place in the Quarry shopping center manages to give you a little upscale feeling without any pretentiousness . I love their fire grilled artichokes and other veggies, like the smashed potatoes!... And on a good occasion, the ribeye. No bad choice for the American human omnivore here, and even enough choices to satisfy most vegetarians.

The food was very good! I got the Grilled Pork Tenderloin with the Smashed Potatoes. Everything about it tasted good and it was a reasonable amount of food too. I also ordered an additional side of their Not Your Ordinary Mac and Cheese, it was ok, not my favorite. And it wasn't because the pasta used were actually shell pasta instead of macaroni, (although that didn't help, I prefer elbow macaroni, call me a traditionalist) I just wasn't feeling the taste. My wife had the Cypress Salad and she was very pleased with it as well. The salad served is pretty large so be sure you're hungry! As an aside, it would have been nice if the candle on our table was lit to help add to the ambience but the food tasted good either way.

The best! All their food is fresh. Love their steaks, smashed potatoes and beefsteak tomatoes. Also, their heirloom carrots. Wine selection is very good. Service is exceptional.
