My wife ordered the sausage sampler. She liked the sausage but found the sauerkraut and potato salad to be lacking. She said the sides are much better in other restaurants. I ordered the goulash. The egg noodles were good. However, the sauce was way too tinny for my liking. The bread basket was simple but ok. There are much better options in the area. Definitely not worth the cost!

Terrible wait staff experience. My father adores the desserts here and chose this place to eat , simply because of the desserts. After their meal the waitress (Late 20s, Hispanic, long brown hair, slightly plump) walked over and asked if they would be having any desserts. My father excitedly said "Well that's a dumb question, of course we will!" The waitress walked off and my father assumed she was getting a dessert menu. She came back with the ticket and told him he would have to find another waitress to serve them because she refused to continue. She claimed that he had been horribly offensive to her by calling her question dumb. My father was mortified that he may have offended her. He tried numerous times at the table to sincerely apologize. He even tried again up at the register to apologize sincerely without raising his voice or becoming belligerent. Just calmly pleading, "I'm so sorry ma'am. I'm so, so sorry ma'am." She continue to chew him out at the register and refused to accept any of his apologies. That's just bad business. I wish he hadn't left any tip at all because she didn't deserve it after her poor treatment of her customers. Not to mention that the service hadn't exactly been stellar before this incident.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner for two. Beer selection was just what the Dr ordered. German food was very good. The veal was cooked to perfection and the red cabbage was different than most in a good way. We will return!!

The food was disappointing. We had schnitzel and sausage. No flavor. Might as well have been hot dogs and microwave pork. Definitely not worth the money. Not worth the time. The potato salad was decent.

Imagine a restaurant that you enter for the first time in which there is no one who comes to the door to greet you? The waitress waved us to the back ,seated us, and then said as she dropped two menus on the table ,"We don't take Visa or MasterCard. She walked off and the waitress for our table then arrived." She showed limited patience with my husband who has a hearing problem. While the food was adequate, the dining experience was subpar because of the service. Normally we tip in the 20 to 25% range, but for this experience we tipped 15% and left.
