This place has a really cool atmosphere and fantastic staff. The major downfall is the wait to get your food and the prices. We went here expecting to spend a good amount of money for our meal (which we did). The quality of food, although good, did not match the quality we were expecting. We felt it didn’t hit that high standard that other places in this price range did.

Read my reviews like this: Overview, Details, Recommendations — Overview — Classy bar with classic and signature cocktails and tasty looking bar bites. Live music and beautiful space. Service left something to be desired, but overall good experience. – Details – • Service: Hostess was great. Busy night but gave us a recommendation for later and set up a reservation for us. However, table service was slow and sloppy. • Ambiance: Live (good) music for the win! Beautifully built space and nice attention to detail. Bathrooms were clean. • F&B: The drinks and the desert we got left room for improvement. (Aside: I don't understand why non-chain bars use such mainstream liquor and beer.) Anyway, not horrible, just didn't taste like a $10 Old Fashioned. – Recommendations – If you're in Fredericksburg you should make a point to come here. My wife and I loved the experience and wish someone else had told us to come. I highly recommend making a reservation because the place gets slammed.

Was visiting the area and wanted a nice place for dinner. It wad just what we wanted. Great food, wine and service. Great decision to stop in.

Great food, the finest cocktails, fine entertainment. The Courtyard serves excellent breakfast. History lesson on early Texas on the walls. Staff is friendly, hostess went above and beyond to seat us.

While the two appetizers I had were amazing, the service was absolutely horrific. Upon being seated our server, Heather came and introduced herself. I told her that my friend was in the restroom and we would order cocktails when she was out. In the meantime I put in an appetizer order. 55 minutes later, yes FIFTY-FIVE, Heather had not ONCE returned to our table. We were seated near the piano and in plain sight and saw her walk past us several times. After over an hour of ZERO SERVICE I approached the hostess station and explained the situation. The hostess retrieved Heather who gave a half ass apology about how she got ‘busy.’ She then had the audacity to ask if we wanted another server! This was my first and very last visit to the Treaty House. Being ignored is not an option. If you get ‘busy,’ give up your table and have another server cover it.
